The course, just a few minutes away from the Slovenian border, overlooks the delightful panorama of the Gulf of Trieste; the 17th hole, which appears to have its green hanging over the sea, offers magnificent views sweeping from the Lagoon of Grado and Lignano as far as the Istrian coast. The entire course with 5,810 meters for an overall par 70, perfectly positioned between the steep hills of the Karst Plateau surrounded by oak trees and Mediterranean fir trees, is not, at first sight, a trail that inspires fear but should certainly not be taken lightly.
Curiosity: Bora wind, which blows from the northeast on to the Adriatic. This cold wind brings blue sky also in winter. When it blows, it makes the course even more difficult.
